Inspired by refreshing walk amongst the tall trees on a Spring morning which made me feel full of  hope, gratitude and wonder. 
 
This painting is full of layered paint effects and mark making - creating a unique artwork that will bring the positive feelings of forest bathing into your home.
 
Start Afresh has been painted from memory and imagination on a maroon background, so that when you look closely you will discover hidden pops of colour that add depth and surprise.
 
The edges have been painted in a mid grey to compliment the painting so there is no need add a frame - unless you would like to of course. Let me know if I can help you with framing.
