Summary of Career

Art has always been important to Karina; at school, during her Marketing career and whilst raising her three children. She continually developed her skills, enjoying part time art courses during this time, culminating in a Fine Art Degree at Curtin University. After graduating, Karina volunteered to be a curator for Fine Art at Hale, whilst building her practice from her home studio. She has exhibited in group shows and art awards and completed many private commissions. Karina’s latest paintings explore nature as a therapy to modern life, with two recent exhibitions Biophilia:inside and out in September and The Wonder of Trees in October/November 2018. Karina also enjoys leading recreational oil painting workshops at Nest Australian Design Studio in the Perth Hills.
