This extra large forest painting leads your gaze upwards to the gently moving canopy, and the phenomenon of crown shyness.
 
It's full of surprising paint effects and mark making, that you'll keep discovering over time - creating a striking, unique centrepiece that will fill your room with the goodness of Australian eucalypts.
 
Kaleidescope was painted from memory and imagination, through a layering process that develops  organic mark making and fun paint effects. Paint is added by dripping, smearing, dry brushing, spraying. Areas have been sanded and scratched to reveal surprising colour combinations and shapes. The surface becomes textured where thick and thin paint combine to create a unique appearance - its then 
harmonised with a cold wax finish to give a soft glow.
 
Dressed in a solid oak frame, initialled on the front, signed on the back and ready to hang.
 
Prints are also available.

Please note that this piece is very large so is best for local pick up or delivery (by arrangement). If you would like to collect your artwork, or request a local delivery, please enter LOCAL in the promo code box to remove the delivery fee.
