Around the Next Bend

This large painting was inspired by the section of the Cape to Cape Track, where Boodjidup Brook turns to run parallel to the beach.  The wind was starting to pick up, but little did we know that around the next bend we would be face-on to the strongest wind, on the softest stretch of sand, leading into Redgate Beach. So it was heads down, and one foot in front of the other, to push through this difficult section of the track. 
 
The painting is highly textured in parts, particulary the reeds by the river.
 
Ready to hang, sides painted, no need to frame unless you want to. Framing can be arranged for an extra charge, by request.
